Our History
We are the Unydos Foundation, a trusted children’s non-profit organization in Colombia. Our journey began in 2010 as a direct response to the profound vulnerability facing children and their families: abandonment, abuse, scarcity, and a lack of opportunity. We were legally established in July 2014, fulfilling all requirements to ensure transparency and dedication to our mission. The inspiration for this adventure has always been to tangibly demonstrate the Love of God.
Our Beginnings
Unydos Foundation started in January 2010 with about 70 children, many volunteers and the money needed to pay only the first month of rent, which we now remember with great joy and gratitude as our LITTLE GREEN HOUSE.
This was an act of faith and complete confidence that GOD would sustain this mission. Today, 15 years later, GOD continues to move his hand with our children.
We are legally constituted as a non-profit entity (ESAL). This involved passing a series of filters according to the law of Colombia.
These processes enable us to maintain and fully comply with all regulations that ensure legitimate functioning in working with children and transparent accountability for resource investments.

Mission Possible, a charity led by Joe and Sadie, was the main promoter of the construction of a new place. We began to dream because we could no longer receive all the children in our LITTLE GREEN HOUSE.
The love, commitment and dedication of this couple made it possible to help and bless dozens of children and their families for at least 8 years.
In 2014, construction began on the new headquarters for the Unydos Foundation. Transitioning from blueprints to reality is always a challenge, and our journey was no exception.
This project was fraught with obstacles, including ill-intentioned professionals, corrupted hearts and absurd regulations that seemed designed to halt social initiatives across the country.
In 2018, the dream of Fundación Unydos was finally realized and inaugurated through faith and the partnership with Misión Posible.
This milestone allowed us to open two full floors featuring expansive, bright spaces for educational play and beautiful green areas dedicated to sports and recreation.
Every single brick was laid with the express intention of showing children the dignity they deserve. From our fully equipped commercial kitchens to bathrooms perfectly adapted for their age and size, the design of our new facility was a tangible demonstration of love and respect.
15 years later, we are still working hard, doing everything in our power to impact the lives of hundreds of children who pass through this place filled with SMILES, LOVE, and RESPECT.
It stands as a refuge and a moment of reprieve amid a chaotic and unequal world that fails to offer everyone the same opportunities in life.
